DateBookIV V37.30 From HardKore Software
By Robert Hardy
© 1988 - 96
DateBook is a reminder system to help avoid the embarrassment of
forgotten appointments and birthdays etc. It provides mechanisms to
cycle an event by year, month and week. Events can also be cycled by
week number, eg first Wednesday in each month or first Wednesday in
May. You may also specify the number of days ahead and how often to
remind you. There is also a mode to print just events on a specified
day.
This update introduces Notes and Priority fields, an incoming rexx
port and Rexx Server mode.
If you are using a previous version of DateBook (2.x, 34.x, < 37.9),
it is very important to read the docs before running the program as
the database size and format has changed. This can be handled for
you by the Installer Script.
In this archive you should find :
DateBook - The main program. See DateBook.guide for a
complete description.
DateBook.info
Dates.dat - Contains some common holidays and other
important events, like PaNorAmA meetings.
InstallDateBook - Installation control file for Commodore's
Installer (not included).
InstallDateBook.info
ConvertDateBook - Converts old database (pre V37.9) to the
new format. If you have an existing
DateBook database, make sure you run it
through this program before the first time
you use DateBook.
ConvertDateBook.info
DateBook.guide - All you need to know to use DateBookIV
(I hope).
